I’m Cherlyn (rhymes with Berlin). My pronouns are she/her. So nice to e-meet you! If we met in person and it wasn’t during a pandemic- I would probably hug you! But an elbow bump will do. Because of my background in photographing births (yes, as in babies being born! not birds..whenever I’m in a conversation - most think I mean birds) early in my career, I really got to hone in on my photo-journalism & documentary style. I’m an introvert-extrovert (more like an ambivert or really, an outgoing introvert) and I tend to ramble too much when I get nervous. In emails - I tend to use exclamation points a lot!! (and will agonize over my drafts of emails before sending them because they probably have one too many!!) My aim as your photographer is to provide a memorable experience where you two feel comfortable, taken care of, and also get to fully enjoy your wedding day as much as possible with all your guests & loved ones! All while managing to capture all that has been happening throughout your day. I am really invested in you and your day. So come on, LET’S DO THIS!
Rated 5.0 Cherlyn was a perfect choice for our San Francisco destination wedding! We live about 400 miles away, so planning was a little *extra* stressful. Cherlyn made us feel comfortable from the very first phone call. We flew up and met her for lunch, and I knew she was the photographer for us. I can’t stress enough how comfortable she made us feel. She was so quick to respond to all of my emails. I had my freak out moments, and Cherlyn's "Don't worry, I got this" confidence really saved me (multiple times).

Rated 5.0 Where do we start on how much we enjoyed working with Cherlyn? As many couples did due to the COVID-19 pandemic, my wife and I had to push our wedding back almost a year (from November of 2020 to October 2021). Throughout the turmoil of moving our wedding date and working with multiple vendors without a coordinator, Cherlyn displayed such a high level of empathy, flexibility, communication, and professionalism.
