My name is Avni Levy and I’m a multimedia storyteller with roots in documentary journalism, writing, and web design. I’m all about showcasing your personal story through powerful portraits and creative films, whether that’s for your business or your wedding day. At the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism, I was fortunate enough to have been closely mentored by some of the best in the business as I earned my master's degree and refined my eye and my technique in both photography and filmmaking. I am also lucky to have been able to pass on my knowledge as a lecturer at the University of Paris, Sorbonne and at UC Berkeley, and I have had my photographic work featured and sold at the Mobile Camera Club in Paris. I believe creativity and innovation are the key to solving not only the world’s biggest problems, but also as the way in which we can add more delight and efficiency to our everyday lives. Rated 5.0 Avni is fantastic. My fiance and I were visiting his family in the Bay Area, and we used the opportunity to have Avni shoot our engagement photos. From the first consultation to the final emails, she was professional and very attentive to making sure the photos turned out like we envisioned. We did a mix of outdoor casual shots (at a perfect little park Avni found) and formal studio shots, and throughout the whole thing, she did a great job of directing us to achieve the best results. I'm self-conscious about posing for photos, and Avni made it all so easy. We live on the East Coast, so Avni was able to show us the photos via Skype, and they turned out beautifully. We went with a photo book -- a gorgeous keepsake -- USB stick and framed portraits. Even when there was a delay in the frames' shipping (through no fault of Avni's whatsoever), she was on top of communication with us to let us know about the delay and in contact with the framing company to get them shipped ASAP. She's conscientious and extremely talented, and I highly recommend her.

There is something about her photographs which distincts from others work, the moment you see any of her work, you will immediately know whom it belongs to.
