Simon made the process of buying a new home so much easier than the horror stories I had heard from my friends. I was expecting it to take a long time, but he willing knew how to negotiate to make the sellers have to respond quickly. He connected me with a few mortgage lenders and title company as well so that process so I didn’t spend a lot of time spinning my wheels trying to find who to go with. This is my first home and I don’t know anyone that purchased in the area so I didn’t have any established connections so I really appreciate that he connected me with so many people that could just straight forwary tell me next steps.

Simon Sahi has been pretty much the work horse (I should say stallion) through our first time home buying process. He went out of his way to make sure things were smoothed out when we felt like things got rocky or we really had no idea what was going on. We hit what we thought were a lot of bumps in the road but Simon was there to make sure we understood and to not stress and walked us through every step. He made sure to explain to us several times what would happen and what we would feel along the way. Simon is fantastic to work with. The Los Altos market is one of the most desirable cities in Silicon Valley. He helped us navigate to find us our dream home in Los Altos. He would always text me back within a few minutes of any questions or concerns I have. Simon was also very flexible with our busy schedules, which consisted of meeting us in evenings, early weekend mornings or nights. He strategized a plan to get us into the right home at the right time and also guided us and educated us on what it takes to secure a house. Simon sold my parents’ condo within a few days of my father’s (unexpected) passing. My father spoke highly of him and throughout this process, I understand why. Simon let’s his work speak for itself, and this is true. If you're looking for a high touch, high energy, get-it-done type realtor, Simon Sahi is your man. With Simon's help, my partner and I were able to find and close a great house in less than 2 months. We were first time home buyers and started looking for houses in late June. Zillow connected us with Simon and we toured a half a dozen houses in areas we were interested in. After that, we made an offer for a home we felt very comfortable with, and had it accepted in early July. We closed at the beginning of August on time. All in all, the process was fast moving and smooth. As first time home buyers, we were nervous making such a big decision as well as making sure that we weren't missing key steps and details. Simon was able to provide the needed information to alleviate our concerns. He also introduced us to our loan officer who helped us find a great mortgage rate. Even after shopping around, we ended up going with the officer he recommended. Throughout this process, Simon was immediately available for any questions or concerns. Often we would ask to see houses late in the week and Simon was able to work out the showing details the same day we requested. Moreover, Simon was also very good at spotting the aspects of our home that we cared about, and efficiently found houses that suited our preferences. In particular, I really appreciated his ability to show us houses we didn't know we wanted. With only a few showings, Simon helped us develop our sense of whether a house is a clear yes or no. We're very pleased with the house we purchased--now a very satisfying new home. No process is perfect. It's important to be mindful of customer personalities and making sure that they feel valued and respected--we had an early interaction that made things difficult on that front. She was very frank from the beginning and told me the truth about the market conditions with data so that i have accurate expectations and be closer to reality, which definitely helps in the entire process. She took my preferences and kept in mind and told me about it while looking at homes. Her offer estimates and comps though unbelievable at first, but you soon start to realize they were very accurate in hindsight. Her knowledge about the area and the market were up-to-date. Being a bit detail oriented person who likes to understand what i am getting into, she dealt with me with patience and replied to all the questions with the best of her knowledge, when she was not aware of something she was not afraid to show her unawareness about it instead of giving half-baked information. Her recommendations about pre-approval contacts and lenders were great. She was a great liaison between me and the lenders/pre-approval contact, whenever required to clear any misunderstanding. Her team of lenders are also very professional and great. Manu also knows when to push her buyer clients and guide them to better their offer in subsequent tries so that the buyer gets the home. Though at first you would feel it is unnecessary, but in hindsight it is very important and should take such guidance with seriousness. Such push and guidance is definitely required to come to terms with the market conditions and submit a winning offer. We were looking to buy our first home around Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, San Jose areas. We heard about Manu from one of her ads on the Bay Area FM channels. Manu was super responsive right from the start and very easy to interact with - just a text/phone call away for any of our questions. With the current housing market, where most houses are listed only for a week, she was really prompt in scheduling viewings as well. We think this is a true necessity for anyone in the current buying market. If Manu was not able to make it to the viewing, we would always have someone from her team help us with the house viewing (though in most cases we would have Manu accompany us herself). She also got us disclosures before the scheduled viewing many a time as per our request which helped us get a good sense of the house condition before the visit. Manu has great contacts with most other seller agents as well which offers an advantage during bidding. Overall, Manu is a great realtor - we enjoyed working with her and would highly recommend her for any first time home buyer!

Manu and her team worked for a period of around three months to help us buy our house in the bay area. It was a great experience working with her. I would give her a 5 star rating on all the following aspects: 1) Knowledge - Manu is extremely knowledgeable of the real estate market trends. She gave us very practical guidance on what to look out in a house when buying: how to read home evaluation reports quickly and find red flags, expected expenditure on fixing a house, how good are the schools, what amenities are available for kids in an area etc. Most importantly, she was pretty spot on in her guidance around how much to bid for a house. 2) Responsiveness - Manu responded to all our queries promptly. She always showed up on time on for any phone calls we set up with her. 3) Communication - Manu was very transparent in all her communications with us. Nothing was left ambiguous or not closed. 4) Post buying experience - Manu got us in contact with some very good contractors to do the fixes in our house. Manu Changotra was our listing agent and she was outstanding to work with! As a first-time buyer, the home-buying process seemed a bit overwhelming, but thanks to Mohan Chalagalla at Realty Experts, it went much smoother than we had anticipated. The amount of time and effort he put into walking us through the whole process was impressive. He is very knowledgeable about the properties in and around the Bay Area, which helped us quickly narrow down the houses we liked. From getting the pre-approvals to closing the deal, he was able to provide several contacts and resources to speed up the process. I have known Mohan for 3+ years now and when we were planning to buy our second home, we reached out to him to get some advice around Bay area real estate trends. Even though the interest rates were high compared to prior years, Mohan suggested that we start our home buying process without further delay. Mohan is hands on and extremely detailed and he did not waste any time to prepare a list of properties that we could look at based on our criteria and created a schedule along with getting appointments for home tours. He also recommended pre-approval and referred us to lenders he had worked with and trusted. Mohan went with us to every home we shortlisted and took detailed notes on pros and cons of each home. He also sent us the disclosures of each home and went through the documents answering all our questions in a detailed manner. Mohan is calm, patient, soft spoken and has an awesome attitude. He is also extremely diligent, knowledgeable and super responsive. He takes extra effort to make you comfortable and always answers his phone and emails promptly. He does a lot of pre-work and research behind the scenes and makes it easy on us. His recommendations are always spot on and give a detailed overview of the area, schools and other factors that we may not be completely aware of. When we identified a home that we wanted to put an offer on, Mohan went above and beyond to get all the inspection reports from the seller's agent, highlighted important areas that needed our attention and pushed for us to get the inspections done on our side so we were satisfied. He also did a lot of research on the comps and recommended an offer price that we were not only comfortable with but also competitive. He put together a winning offer packet. Needless to say, our offer was accepted and from this point on he shifted his focus on the tasks to close smoothly and successfully. Mohan consistently connected with the lender, escrow and the seller's agent to make sure we were always on time. If anything was amiss then Mohan was there to spot that and get them resolved even if it was not something he was accountable for. He was also instrumental in negotiating the list price and bringing it down after we identified a couple of fixes that we had to do in the house. Without Mohan's care and effort, we would not have had a smooth closing. It took us a little over 45 days for us to start looking at the properties and closing the home of our choice and Mohan played a very significant role to make it happen.
