About Anish Tewari Photography

Anish Tewari goal is to be much more to you then just your photographer. His style is simple, candid, artistic, fun, elegant, emotional and real. Anish Tewari images are contemporary and fashion inspired but in a low-key kind of way where everyone is always having fun just being themselves. We also capture all your traditional family portraits too. He will treat you like family who happens to be covering your special event. It's because of this philosophy that he will only shoot two events each weekend and limit the number of events he does. Anish Tewari believe quality is more important than quantity.

Rated 1.0 Anish took photos for my engagement event on xx/xx/xx. He had to leave abruptly due to feeling ill and left only your assistant to take photos. His assistant took an abundance of photos but they were all either of guests, or of us standing with guests. There was none of those “staged pictures” your website touts under engagement photos. I feel cheated of those special photos and feel this was due to you not being able to stay to take the pictures yourself. Thou I can sympathize….these events can not be redone so the opportunity is lost regardless, however I feel in good faith a portion of the money paid ($800 paid in full), should be refunded as we did not get satisfactory photos. Furthermore we never received a link to the "online gallery for guests” per our photo-booth agreement contract quote number:xxxxxxxx Can we please receive that. I have requested this prior and herd no response. I want to see if an amicable decision can be made prior to leaving a review of our photos and a review of how it was handle after the fact with customer service.

Rated 1.0 We feel compelled to warn friends about working with Anish Tewari Photography, in the hopes to save you the nightmare we endured. The issues started almost instantly-Anish decided that it was ok for him to post a custom design that we had created for our wedding on his social media without our permission and eluded that he created it. He had nothing to do with it and stole our intellectual property to promote himself. This should have been a warning to break ties, but for lack of better judgement we gave him another chance. The day of the event, Anish took it upon himself to leave half way through our event without notifying us and having his father step in-all I could think was-How unprofessional? And what a complete lack of respect not only for your customer, but for your craft. The issues that followed have been painstaking and horrendous. In the months that followed our wedding, it has been an absolute nightmare dealing with Anish and the end product isn’t worth the paper it would be printed on. We were promised all of our pictures from the event, only to receive a fraction and no pictures with our families. Being someone who has worked in the wedding business and a recent bride, I would warn you to avoid his services. Never have we felt so strongly about a vendor who's been impossible to work with and has been a complete nightmare with no decency to respond to an email. Save yourself from the terrible services (or lack of) of Anish Tewari Photography.

Rated 5.0 Anish is an amazing photographer. He's not only very professional with his work, but he's passionate and being able to do the photoshoot with him was extremely fun. I've never been the subject of photography, but working with Anish has been a pleasure

Rated 5.0 It all started on a bright Saturday morning, in the beautiful city of Manhattan, where I was punching the buttons on the Munimeter for eating my $20 and not getting a receipt back. Grumbling and muttering under my breath..this is how I first met Anish and his dad (Uncle)on the day of the e-session. Laughing his head off, he helped me find proper parking. What started out as a frustrating start to a day, ending up being an amazing experience that we will never forget. And as the saying goes, the rest is history..From the Munimeter eating up money, to random tourists photographing us on Wall Street, to riding a go-cart at Central Park, to being mistaken as movie stars by a Central Park cabbie( lol..), to ending the night at the most romantic spot in Hoboken overlooking the city skyline - our e-session was a whirl-winded fun-filled adventure. From the first picture shot of us, “my guy and I ” knew that we had found a great artist in Anish. He was very down to earth, easy going, quite humorous - making us feel completely at ease, especially considering the fact that Saju and I are camera shy. It was like being with family and all we were doing was having fun.. we hardly felt the time pass by..And the resulting pictures, were nothing but breathtaking and spectacular. We were just just blown away with what we saw. Actually, I was sitting in front of the computer just teary eyed and felt goosebumps looking at our pictures. Every picture showed our love for each other - from every coy glance I sent Saju’s way, to our lover’s stares, to our poses.. It was as if we were the only ones in the world..and Anish was the sole observer photographing us candidly. Anish is such a talented and versatile photographer, shooting in a range of styles from the classic Greek architectural pictures to the avant-garde modern Hollywood lover’s poses. What we saw as just lying in the grass, you captured a couple’s loving tender look. What we saw as standing in front of a movie poster, you p
