Nowadays Its very rare to find the teachers who are not money minded. Mrs Sonal Jhaveri is the one who is dedicated to the art she is teaching but not money minded. We have moved to Edison 4 years back. Even then we are still continuing the classes in khushi dance academy just because we don’t want to miss such a great teacher. Even in this pandemic she is keeping the classes and students very active & learning oriented. I would highly recommend khushi dance academy to the kids who are willing to learn bharathanatyam.
I have been a student at Khushi Dance Academy for a little over six years now, and I have loved every single moment of my experience. The dance instructor takes her time with students, guiding us along our journeys as dancers. There are many opportunities for you to grow as a dancer and as an individual through class itself, performance opportunities, and interaction with students of all levels. The teacher is understanding and looks out for the growth of her students, so long as students play their part as well. This is a place where I've seen children not only enjoy putting their passions for dance into practice, but also a place where I've seen them grow into respectful, disciplined, kind, and talented individuals.
Where teaching has become commercial everywhere these days, Khushi dance academy is one place where you not just learn dance, values of life and respect. Me and my daughter have been going to Nrityalina since 4 months and it’s an absolute delight! My daughter Vaani has been learning dance ( semi classical and contemporary ) from Nritya creations from past 2 years. Her teachers Ms Serita and Ms Aayushma are excellent and very creative . We can see a lot of improvement in her dance with the technique used by the teachers. This has helped them to win competitions too!
Our daughter has trained in western dancing for several years. However, her love of Bollywood songs and movies led to her affinity with eastern dancing. She didn’t want to focus on just Bollywood dancing but wanted to pay homage to her South Indian roots and incorporate some form of classical dancing along with western dance techniques. Nritya Creations (NC)offered just that, an Indo-Contemporary class that incorporated Classical, Lyrical, and Jazz. NC and its teachers have provided a wonderful outlet for our daughter to perfect her technique and learn the art form. She has become even more confident and poised over the past 3 years, all the while having fun.
