One of the best photographers/Videographers in the tri-state area . I can now say we are lucky to find DesiStudioz . We started with them for our prewedding shoot and now even after 3 years we did our several other shoots with them (prewedding , engagement, wedding n baby shower ) . They are best in bringing out your dream pictures you just have to tell them what you want to and then leave it to them. Price has always been on the lower side and has never been a matter of concern. Best just go for it.....

Finding a good photographer for a reasonable price is extremely difficult. My fiancé and I thought we had done just that, except 48 hours before our wedding our photographer cancelled. We were left scrambling to find someone on short notice. Luckily we found Rakesh. We didn’t have a lot of time to get to know him but he agreed to shoot our wedding and we hoped for the best. He showed up on time and from our first impression we had struck GOLD. He was extremely courteous and professional right off the bat and got right to work. Without direction he blended into our party and took candid shots of our guests. During the ceremony he was able to capture all the key moments you would expect then gave us a minute before all the glitzy one on one photos you want for the album. He had already scoped out the property for the best spots where the lighting and backdrop was just right and proceeded to position us to get the best results. I mean honestly, he stopped to show us how the pictures were coming out and we were blown away. At this point we started to forget about pictures and just be ourselves and have fun. After the one on one and family shots we were free to get back to our party and guests, but Rakesh continued to take candid shots. By the end of the night most people in our party felt so comfortable with him they thought he was a personal friend of ours that was photographing our wedding as a favor to us. He had amazing energy and read the room like no one I’ve ever seen. Truly a blessing to have him capture your event, but on 48 hrs notice it was literally a miracle. We would recommend him for anyone and 100% plan on using him in the future.

Rakesh is a thorough professional and he did a fantastic job with our wedding photography. Our event extended by an hour than what we had booked him for, but he was flexible, and we really appreciate him for that. We were on a tight budget considering it was COVID era wedding but to our surprise his rates were the most competitive in the marketplace and I would strongly recommend anyone looking for an event photographer to get his quote first. The outcome was a high-quality product which we will cherish for the rest of our lives. In addition to the highlight video, full event video and soft copies of the photographs, we also availed the hard cover album, and it came out to be a classy product. I hired this company to do the photography for my daughter's sweet 16 at the recommendation of her friend's mother who used to same company for her daughter's sweet 16 last fall. While their prices weren't the lowest of the companies we looked at, having a personal recommendation meant the most to me, so we booked them. They also helped with some of the décor for the venue, as much of what they had in their portfolio matched the aesthetic that my daughter had put together in her pinterest board. We were thrilled to find a company that did multiple things. My daughter—being a typical teenager—didn't really care that much about the photographer we chose, but once we got the pictures back, she was really excited about them. I think that the special moments were captured perfectly; I was really happy with how the party came out; everything looked great. The additional decorations helped bring everything together. It took a little longer than I might have expected to get the photos, but ultimately our experience was a good one. I would recommend them to others for sure!

Planning a wedding to begin with was very overwhelming with having to pick the Dj, venue, florist, and photographer but Sameer made the whole process easy. he was very professional and very attentive to our needs. Raj Photo and Video did the videography for our wedding in Chelsea, New York this April. We hired them just before the event and they were completely professional from the first moment we contacted them. Every communication, by email, by phone and in person has been professional and helpful in every way. On the day of the wedding, we really appreciated that they brought in extra staff so we would not miss any important parts or angles of our event! They were easy, kind, unobtrusive and polite in every way. We never even knew when they were around! It was seamless! We all felt completely comfortable around their team. One of their staff, who had been coordinating with us before the wedding, even came over from another event late in the evening to ensure all had been smooth and just as we had envisioned. We considered many videographers in the NYC area for this wedding, which was a grand and elaborate affair. But we chose Raj Photo and Video for their incredible thoughtfulness and very high interest from the beginning in making the video a treasured memory, and providing us with exactly the feel and direction that we would most like to see portrayed. I'm going to be honest...we planned our wedding January (2016) on a very tight budget. I wanted a photographer and videagrapher that wasn't going to cost an arm and a leg. That's when I came across Raj Photo Video. There's that saying that says you pay what you get for...well compared to other costs I wasn't expecting anything spectacular. Wedding day comes and goes they are there we do pictures they were around all night and they recorded everything. Flash forward a week or two we get our highlight reel from the wedding we were OBSESSED with it. We then got all our edited images and I loved them. The hard part was picking out pictures for the album...I did so about 10 months later (oops). I came home today from work to find my wedding album not at all expecting it and I absolutely am in love. It was not at all what I was expecting. It's perfect! Lesson learned...sometimes you find honest at home guys who don't charge you like other photographers for working out of their own homes! P.S. he did travel a distance for us also! I would 100% recommend them! They're work is awesome!!!

Raj photo video had just done my wedding in Indianapolis. I've have nothing but great things to say about the experience that my wife and I have had using this amazing team. My wife had seen these guys at another family wedding and told me we had to go with them. The price was way more than what I expected but so was absolutely everything during the wedding planning process. Sameer come to Boston to do our engagement shoot. He knew how much I didn't want to do any of this and was able to turn my day into such a fun time. He brought a lot of positive energy. Moving forward a few months to the wedding.We had about 6 events that required their services. The whole team was there on time and dressed professionally. I can't stress how important it is to me that they dressed professionally.I've been to weddings and have seen vendors wear jeans and hoodies and these are big weddings with 300 plus people. These guys were clean and Sharp. When you're getting married pictures can become very annoying. It's great to have a team that is so meticulous about what they're doing.they make sure that everyone is in the right spot that no one is being hidden or a hand is covering their face. But they also know how to keep it moving. Very important at these types of weddings when you have 300 people. Before during and after everything communication with these guys has been a breeze and a pleasure. The team is with you during some emotional moments. They're empathetic to what is happening around them and seem to just know what to say. Must be the experience. All my guests love the playful nature of how the photographers captured the moments. Where do i begin... I got engaged back in 2014 and immediately began looking for a photographer/videographer for my wedding. I knew this was going to be the most difficult task because I was working with a budget, but did not want to sacrifice on quality. After talking to many of my friends who got married and searching the internet day and night, I came across Raj photo video. From the very first time I reached out to Sameer, him and his family were nothing short of professional, knowledgeable and kind! Sameer had many different packages to offer me so I could stay on budget and still get everything that I wanted. Sameer kept in contact with Joey and I through our very long (3 year) engagement and was always only a text message away if we had any questions. The week before my wedding, when absolutely everything that could go wrong did, Sameer was my voice of reason! He called me and said to enjoy the ride, even the bumps, because before I blink it will all be over. And boy was he right! The day of my wedding, May 6, 2017, Sameer and his family were prompt and got to work right away making sure they got pictures/video of everything. Raj Photo Video did such a wonderful job capturing the moments of mine and my husbands special day. From the moment they arrived they were energetic and fun and ready to go, making all the picture taking easy and enjoyable. I was nervous waiting for my photos because the weather turned out to be extremely windy, which made picture taking outside a task. But once I seen the pictures all I could do was laugh because the way they were taken told the story and showed the raw moments of what we were dealing with. I also have received so many compliments from friends and family about how wonderful our photographer was which made me so happy. Sameer, Nick and the rest of the team at Raj Photo Video did an amazing job at our engagement shoot, Henna night and wedding day. The coaching from Sameer was perfect and he made everything so easy and enjoyable especially when we were stressed out. The one aspect of Raj Photo Video that I was most impressed with was the amount of time and communication that Sameer took to get to know us so that he could understand what types of photo shots, video shoots, and what we wanted captured. Sameer, Nick and his team photographed and filmed our wedding a few months ago and did a fantastic job! They work with you and really listen to what you want to do. For example, we didn't want to spend much time taking posed photographs, and rather opted to get as much candid footage as possible and spend more time interacting with our guests and enjoying our wedding, and they never made us feel like we were making a bad choice or that this was an inconvenience to them somehow, which was not at all the case with other photographers we had contacted before going with Raj Photo Video.
