I hired this company to do the photography for my daughter's sweet 16 at the recommendation of her friend's mother who used to same company for her daughter's sweet 16 last fall. While their prices weren't the lowest of the companies we looked at, having a personal recommendation meant the most to me, so we booked them. They also helped with some of the décor for the venue, as much of what they had in their portfolio matched the aesthetic that my daughter had put together in her pinterest board. We were thrilled to find a company that did multiple things. My daughter—being a typical teenager—didn't really care that much about the photographer we chose, but once we got the pictures back, she was really excited about them. I think that the special moments were captured perfectly; I was really happy with how the party came out; everything looked great. The additional decorations helped bring everything together. It took a little longer than I might have expected to get the photos, but ultimately our experience was a good one. I would recommend them to others for sure!

On January 1st, 2016, we organized a Party to celebrate our parents' 60th Wedding Anniversary. For this occasion, we booked with Raj Photo Video to cover the Event. During the six-hour party on that day, both Raj and Sameer were extremely professional and patient. Both the Album and Blue-Ray DVDs came out to be EXCEPTIONALLY beautiful; in addition, each and every one of the end product came out to be First Class quality. Planning a wedding to begin with was very overwhelming with having to pick the Dj, venue, florist, and photographer but Sameer made the whole process easy. he was very professional and very attentive to our needs. Raj Photo and Video did the videography for our wedding in Chelsea, New York this April. We hired them just before the event and they were completely professional from the first moment we contacted them. Every communication, by email, by phone and in person has been professional and helpful in every way. On the day of the wedding, we really appreciated that they brought in extra staff so we would not miss any important parts or angles of our event! They were easy, kind, unobtrusive and polite in every way. We never even knew when they were around! It was seamless! We all felt completely comfortable around their team. One of their staff, who had been coordinating with us before the wedding, even came over from another event late in the evening to ensure all had been smooth and just as we had envisioned. We considered many videographers in the NYC area for this wedding, which was a grand and elaborate affair. But we chose Raj Photo and Video for their incredible thoughtfulness and very high interest from the beginning in making the video a treasured memory, and providing us with exactly the feel and direction that we would most like to see portrayed. Words fail to express how we felt after we saw our wedding pictures. Amazing work, fabulous captures. Very friendly, accomodating and easy to work with him and his team. I'm going to be honest...we planned our wedding January (2016) on a very tight budget. I wanted a photographer and videagrapher that wasn't going to cost an arm and a leg. That's when I came across Raj Photo Video. There's that saying that says you pay what you get for...well compared to other costs I wasn't expecting anything spectacular. Wedding day comes and goes they are there we do pictures they were around all night and they recorded everything. Flash forward a week or two we get our highlight reel from the wedding we were OBSESSED with it. We then got all our edited images and I loved them. The hard part was picking out pictures for the album...I did so about 10 months later (oops). I came home today from work to find my wedding album not at all expecting it and I absolutely am in love. It was not at all what I was expecting. It's perfect! Lesson learned...sometimes you find honest at home guys who don't charge you like other photographers for working out of their own homes! P.S. he did travel a distance for us also! I would 100% recommend them! They're work is awesome!!!

Raj photo video had just done my wedding in Indianapolis. I've have nothing but great things to say about the experience that my wife and I have had using this amazing team. My wife had seen these guys at another family wedding and told me we had to go with them. The price was way more than what I expected but so was absolutely everything during the wedding planning process. Sameer come to Boston to do our engagement shoot. He knew how much I didn't want to do any of this and was able to turn my day into such a fun time. He brought a lot of positive energy. Moving forward a few months to the wedding.We had about 6 events that required their services. The whole team was there on time and dressed professionally. I can't stress how important it is to me that they dressed professionally.I've been to weddings and have seen vendors wear jeans and hoodies and these are big weddings with 300 plus people. These guys were clean and Sharp. When you're getting married pictures can become very annoying. It's great to have a team that is so meticulous about what they're doing.they make sure that everyone is in the right spot that no one is being hidden or a hand is covering their face. But they also know how to keep it moving. Very important at these types of weddings when you have 300 people. Before during and after everything communication with these guys has been a breeze and a pleasure. The team is with you during some emotional moments. They're empathetic to what is happening around them and seem to just know what to say. Must be the experience. All my guests love the playful nature of how the photographers captured the moments. Where do i begin... I got engaged back in 2014 and immediately began looking for a photographer/videographer for my wedding. I knew this was going to be the most difficult task because I was working with a budget, but did not want to sacrifice on quality. After talking to many of my friends who got married and searching the internet day and night, I came across Raj photo video. From the very first time I reached out to Sameer, him and his family were nothing short of professional, knowledgeable and kind! Sameer had many different packages to offer me so I could stay on budget and still get everything that I wanted. My husband and I knew we were in good hands, so we were happy to book Raj photo video in early 2015. Sameer kept in contact with Joey and I through our very long (3 year) engagement and was always only a text message away if we had any questions. The week before my wedding, when absolutely everything that could go wrong did, Sameer was my voice of reason! He called me and said to enjoy the ride, even the bumps, because before I blink it will all be over. And boy was he right! The day of my wedding, May 6, 2017, Sameer and his family were prompt and got to work right away making sure they got pictures/video of everything. My guests had nothing but great things to say about the crew including how versatile, creative and fun they were! Less than a month has gone by and we have already gotten our pictures back with a link to share so all of our guests can enjoy them as well. Raj Photo Video did such a wonderful job capturing the moments of mine and my husbands special day. From the moment they arrived they were energetic and fun and ready to go, making all the picture taking easy and enjoyable. I was nervous waiting for my photos because the weather turned out to be extremely windy, which made picture taking outside a task. But once I seen the pictures all I could do was laugh because the way they were taken told the story and showed the raw moments of what we were dealing with. I also have received so many compliments from friends and family about how wonderful our photographer was which made me so happy. Sameer, Nick and the rest of the team at Raj Photo Video did an amazing job at our engagement shoot, Henna night and wedding day. The coaching from Sameer was perfect and he made everything so easy and enjoyable especially when we were stressed out. The one aspect of Raj Photo Video that I was most impressed with was the amount of time and communication that Sameer took to get to know us so that he could understand what types of photo shots, video shoots, and what we wanted captured. This is something that I have never seen from any photography studio that I have talked or interacted with. Sameer, Nick and his team photographed and filmed our wedding a few months ago and did a fantastic job! They work with you and really listen to what you want to do. For example, we didn't want to spend much time taking posed photographs, and rather opted to get as much candid footage as possible and spend more time interacting with our guests and enjoying our wedding, and they never made us feel like we were making a bad choice or that this was an inconvenience to them somehow, which was not at all the case with other photographers we had contacted before going with Raj Photo Video. My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Raj Photo Video for our wedding photography, and out of all the important choices we made during our entire wedding process, this was easily one of the best! From the start, they were very warm toward us, and they made it clear that they did not intend to only capture us from afar. My husband and I chose Raj Photo/Video for our Nikkah ceremony and wedding reception in September of 2021. My family has many events, and this was the first time that I felt complete security that the team I hired would take note of all our requests, however big or small, and have a true interest in capturing our most special moments. Sameer, Ajay, and Nick made themselves available to discuss with me the timeline of each day, went over poses/photos that we wanted to shoot. The communication was seamless, and I honestly could not have been happier to just focus on getting married and having fun. This was all reflected in the final product. A true thing of magic! Our family adores our photos and especially our wedding highlight/video. The emotions and love captured hits right every single time we watch it! It was important to us that we had a team that understood our culture and religion as well -- without going into too much detail, they knew exactly what moments needed to be captured at all the perfect angles. We never worried that they were based in NJ, and we were having our wedding out in Suffolk County at my home. They came early and did not miss a beat. I truly forgot they were located out of state. Do not worry, they will dedicate their time and give you 150%. Not only that, but Sameer was the best bridesmaid! He was always there to help me carry and set my train. Ajay and Nick also made sure my husband and I were having a good time. My only regret was not booking them for every single one of my events. We gained lifelong friends here with these guys!

Raj Photo Video was one of my best vendors that I have chosen for my wedding. They are very professional and punctual with our schedule. Both Sameer (photographer) and Ajay (videographer) went out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable. They got the pictures we wanted and the footage needed for our video. When we ran into a few hiccups with time, they stayed a little past the allotted time to make sure they captured what was needed to put our photos and video together.
