While other schools seemed to focus on the body only, Kathy felt strongly that it was important to train the whole child...mind, body, and soul. With a staff of teachers who have a strong background in dance, who love children, who exemplify the Christian values that are the cornerstone of the school and who, for the most part, have all been students of "Miss" Kathy themselves.En Pointe has come to enjoy the reputation of turning out well trained, well rounded, happy dancers. Many having gone on to dance with regional and professional dance companies, been awarded the Governor's Honor Award, received scholarships for summer study at prestigious schools in the United States, and started dance ministries within their own churches.
