Experienced Retail Sales Associate Jobs in Faber Coe & Gregg Inc Iselin, NJ

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding guest service through friendly and personalized interactions
• Accurately process sales transactions using the register system in line with company policies
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to the sale of alcohol, tobacco, and lottery items — including mandatory ID checks
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines for proper food handling
• Support the preparation, packaging, and service of food and beverage items
• Assist in receiving, unpacking, and stocking incoming merchandise
• Check in shipments and stage items for sales floor placement
• Stock all areas of the store, including beverage coolers, ensuring proper product rotation (FIFO method)
• Prepare products according to recipes and portion guidelines
• Maintain proper merchandise presentation by recovering and front-facing items to company standards
• Ensure accurate labeling and signage of all store food items
• Complete daily operational tasks such as line checks, closing procedures, and readiness reports
• Keep the restaurant and store areas clean, organized, and free of debris at all times
• Perform janitorial duties, including cleaning floors, windows, equipment, and workstations
• Comply with the dress code and appearance standards outlined in the employee handbook
• Arrive on time and in uniform for all scheduled shifts
• Support leadership by performing additional duties as assigned
  
  

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with POS systems
• Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrates reliability, professionalism, and a team-first attitude
• Prior experience with food handling preferred (minimum 1 year)
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
