Position Summary:
We’re looking for an energetic, reliable, and customer-focused Counter Person Manager to be the face of our pizzeria. You’ll handle in-store and phone orders, operate the point-of-sale system, and ensure every guest feels welcome. You’ll also play a key role in spotting opportunities to grow our business through great service, upselling, and community engagement.

Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly and take orders with accuracy and efficiency

Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for dine-in, takeout, and delivery orders

Communicate clearly with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation

Handle payments (cash, card, online orders) and maintain a balanced cash drawer

Keep the counter and customer area clean, organized, and welcoming

Answer phones and assist customers with menu questions or special requests

Promote specials, upsell combo deals, and suggest popular menu items

Build relationships with regular customers and create a positive vibe

Be attentive to customer feedback and bring ideas for improving service

Support social media/content efforts (e.g., snapping photos of happy customers or food)

What We’re Looking For:

Friendly and confident communicator

Experience in food service or retail preferred, but we’ll train the right person

Comfortable using POS systems and handling transactions

Quick on your feet, detail-oriented, and dependable

A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn

Someone who takes initiative and is excited about helping the business grow

Bonus Points If You:

Have experience in upselling or cross-promoting

Are active on social media and love food content

Speak multiple languages (especially Spanish)

Have ideas for local partnerships or community events
