Both my daughters learn Bharatanatyam from Guru. Neha Parikh from a young age. Neha’s exquisite choreography, emphasis in perfecting the posture of Bharatnatyam and attention to minute details brings out the best in kids. My kids and I see her not just as a dance guru but someone who helps mills their personality, teaches them discipline, value of hard work and respect for the arts. My daughter learned Bharatanatyam from Neha Parikh (artistic director) since the age of 4. She did her arangetram in 2022. Neha is a talented dancer, who is also versed in getting her students to embrace our indian culture through dance; her unique choreographies, attention to detail, and ability to bring expression in her students is just remarkable. I never thought my daughter would be ever able to perform for 2+ hours on stage with live musicians; it was a remarkable experience for all of us, and a day that built great memories for all. Neha's passion, hard work, tremendous abilities in choreographing pieces to best suit the student, enables her to grow her students in nritya (dance), abhinaya (expression) and overall passion for this art form. If you are debating whether to enroll your child in dance, please don't think any longer, its definitely worth it, more so with a teacher like Neha, every penny is well spent! Beginning years you won't see it, but later as your child develops love for Bhratanatyam, you will never look back and will look forward to enjoying the dance pieces with your child! My daughter has been learning Bharathanatyam from Neha Parikh for the past 12 years; she has learned not only the technique but has learned to emote and combine really well Abhinaya and Nrithya. Neha’s passion, dedication, attention to detail and her tremendous patience are the reason why I choose her as the guru for my daughter. Neha’s choreographies are tailored to the student’s capabilities and she knows how to get the most and best out of every student. Her choreographies are unique, powerful, detailed, intricate and very entertaining! I really like it that Neha keeps standards really high and she challenges my daughter constantly; many times when I feel an item is coming together nicely, Neha will say it is not even close to what she expects ! My daughter will be doing her arrangetram in 2022, and through dance Neha has inspired her to work hard, be diligent to practice regularly, and to never give up ! These are lessons that would apply to everything my daughter would embark in. Neha’s biggest impact if my daughter is developing her ability to emote; Neha has been and continues to spend endless hours to get that emotion and right facial expression for every portion of the dance; for Neha it can always get better and she keeps challenging the student! It is such a delight to watch her classes.

Neha parikh is a gifted artist with extra ordinary talent and high creativity. My daughters have been learning Bharatnatyam, a classical form of Indian dance, from Ms. Neha Parikh of the Chidambharam Nritya Kala Academy for the past 7 years. Neha Parikh has a traditional approach to teaching students Bharatnatyam while combining creative and traditional choreography for classical items. Neha has a very high standard that she encourages her students to meet while maintaining the integrity of the art form of Bharatnatyam. This results in a polish and maturity in her students' performances that is distinctive from other teachers in the area. She has the knowledge, skill and great dedication necessary to transform her students into blossoming graceful dancers. She has many success stories.My daughter Arya started learning bharatnatyam at age 5. Within short time, due to her own liking and eagerness and Neha's expert coaching; Arya was able to learn a great deal! Neha also teaches Bollywood dances as per requirement.
