It was great working with Kabir and his team for our wedding in VA. Kabir was super helpful with all aspects of lighting and floor plan! Kabir and Ishpreet made for a super lively baraat even in the freezing cold! They kept the dance floor going our entire reception and were helpful with coordination as well! Our 360 Photo Booth made for amazing wedding videos and our guests absolutely loved all the props they had provided! It was busy the entire time!! We used Desi Beatzs for a recent event in our backyard celebrating my daughter’s birthday and we couldn’t have been happier. Matt is very professional and thorough. He worked with us right from the planning phase - we had a couple consultations to understand our requirements and he made suggestions accordingly. He worked with our family to learn our diverse taste in music and even customized a playlist especially for us. He even helped us with music mixes for our dance performances. Matt does it all!! On the day of the event, the team from Desi Beatzs covered many aspects of our party including lights, smoke guns, upstage dance floor lighting, outdoor and indoor speakers. DJ Matt personally came out a few days before the party to test out everything. Everyone enjoyed the music and Matt kept the crowd on the dance floor. A few weeks later people are still talking about the fun party, thanks to Desi Beatzs! We would recommend him for any DJ services - large or small.

He made sure to arrive early and work on all the last minute adjustments to work closely with our planner and event staff. He also spent extensive time working with individuals of our party before the ceremony to ensure the mixes were perfect. Would highly recommend for his ability to provide great service. Well that is what happens when Matt is your DJ and the dance party starts in the evening and goes way past midnight because no one wants to miss a beat ?? Thanks Matt for keeping the party rolling and making our special couple celebrating their silver jubilee, dance to your carefully selected peppy numbers. You went above and beyond and turned the DJ service to karaoke without skipping a beat. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our son and his now wife’s Sangeet Night. Kabir is absolutely fantastic and so personable!! He was prompt and on time, and he emceed the evening’s program with no problems. Most importantly though, the music was so insanely energetic. The set was beyond what we had imagined! We had an amazing time working with DJ Kabir and his partner, Ishpreet. They did an incredible job at every single one of our wedding events in Cancun, Mexico. Kabir was super easy to work with and was always available to help out in any way he could. Our guests LOVED his music, he kept the dance floor filled with his great choice of music. Ishpreet did a phenomenal job at playing the dhol and at MC'ing to keep our events running smoothly. I would hire Kabir again in a heartbeat for any of our future events. ?DJ Kabir is absolutely phenomenal. We approached him based on reviews and his Instagram page. And after that it was a seamless process. He was wonderful to work with and personalized the playlist to include some of our favorites. He also attended the venue walkthroughs with us to help us plan the layout and also help us think through elements unrelated to audio. We danced for 3 straight hours and so did our guests ?across ages 3 to 80. Ankur, the dholi, brought in amazing energy and was a unique element to our reception. The lighting was great. ?The ?photo ?booth was very well done. The props were fun and there was something for everyone. We got the photos very soon after the event, and they are a great addition to the photos from our photographer.? Having Kabir and Ankur made all the difference to our celebrations. It's an enthusiastic yes from us!

Don’t hesitate and just book Desi Beatz for your wedding events! My husband and I are so happy that we worked with Kabir on our special day. So communicative, friendly and upfront about what services they provided (and they offer a ton! We went with the DJ & photobooth packages). He was not only just the DJ for our reception, but he was the host, emcee, and coordinator. He truly lent support to every aspect of our day and was the reason it went so smoothly. Our guests loved the photobooth as well and it was great entertainment for our guests. Our event was a traditional Pakistani reception (the groom’s culture) with guests from other different cultures, as my family is Chinese-Vietnamese. Whatever I say is not enough for how accomadating and proffessional Kabir is. From the first call, he was super friendly, responsive and willing to help make the event the way we want it. I think we had a pretty complex evening with need for live streaming, some pre recorded speeches and need for projector, but he made it seem all natural and simple. He was in touch with me and my brother regarding multitude of itenary changes during the evening and really just went with the flow. As for the music and lights, amazing. High quality speakers, greating lighting, awesome fog machine and great beats thru the whole night, he was also playing all special request songs all evening. I think i know who ill be calling and reffering to for all my DMV DJ needs

We were so lucky to have Kabir DJ at my sister's wedding in the greater Baltimore area. He was professional, timely, and extremely kind. He worked hard to make sure everyone from kids to our older guests had a great time. He accommodated our requests and helped us with all our needs. On the Mehndi, His friend played the Dhol and added that extra punjabi touch. On the Shaadi, he set up a projector screen so we could play a slideshow and give the couple an extra tribute. Everything was flawless and super organized!

Best DJ ever...I told Kabir that my Indian/Jewish/Peruvian wedding needed to be a banger, and the man really delivered. All night, guests told me it was the best wedding they'd ever been to and the dance floor was never empty. Wow, wow, wow, and one more time for the people in the back: WOW!!! DJ Kabir was everything and more we could have hoped for (and I was a wedding DJ for a spell so the expectations were high). We had a DIY reception-only affair (courthouse wedding last year), so we were looking for the music to not just be a mood setter, but capture bits of ourselves and our families. We wanted a little bit of all the good stuff, so much so it was almost hard to nail down a playlist. What would work, what won’t? Whats too niche or too new or to old gahhh!! This is where Kabir came in. His kind and warm demeanor really made us feel we were in good hands. He was available for any questions and was even kind enough to do a site visit beforehand. And then the day came. Firstly, what a set up! The lighting, the ambience! Secondly, what care! Kabir indulged us with a garba set that was supposed to be 15 miniutes and went 30. And then, MC Ishpreet! What an addition to the party. As Kabir tore up the floor, Ish’s dhol just amped up to the max. And what else to say? We danced and danced and danced. Every song was a banger, every beat felt like the apex. It wasn’t until days afterward looking at all of the fun videos from the night of people on the dancefloor we realized, “Damn our wedding really was an epic party.” All owed to Kabir and his team! I cannot speak highly enough about DJ Kabir and his team at Desi Beatz. We hired Desi Beatz for our Mehndi and Wedding this past weekend and both events were flawless- music, lights, everything. DJ Kabir is a very kind, patient, and professional DJ whose vibes are exactly what a bride needs on their big day(s). His team is absolutely wonderful too. DJ Kabir was very responsive in the whole planning process, shared great ideas for music and other special portions of our events, and truly made our events so memorable. We had a fusion Pakistani/American wedding and he was able to perfectly combine music from both cultures and read the crowd for the type of music they wanted to hear all night long. We recently hired Desi Beatz services and DJ Kabir was simply awesome! This was for a birthday party and he made is memorable for us. Kabir is easy to work with and helped us with every step resulting in a fantastic high energy party.
