This center is owned and operated by Shilpa Dhar who brings her passion for education and her personal experience as a Kumon parent to create a positive learning atmosphere. At this center children are guided through a proven step by step learning method that focuses on building a strong foundation in both math and reading. Each student begins at a level that matches their current ability which allows them to grow in confidence and gradually progress beyond their school grade level. The math program helps students develop logical thinking problem solving skills and speed in calculation while the reading program improves vocabulary grammar comprehension and critical thinking. More than just academics the center helps students build focus discipline and independent study habits that prepare them for success in all areas of life. Parents trust this center for its structured learning approach and supportive environment that encourages children to take ownership of their learning journey. Over the years many students from Fremont and nearby areas have achieved academic excellence and gained the confidence to tackle new challenges with a positive mindset.
Rated 5.0 My daughter has been attending this center for over a year and I can see great progress in her math skills. She has developed a stronger foundation and is now ahead of her grade level. The worksheets are well organized and help her learn step by step. It does require daily practice at home but the results are worth it

The instructor Shilpa is very supportive and always provides helpful feedback. I love how the program encourages independent learning while still giving structured guidance

Rated 5.0 My sister and I have a very big age gap & I attended this very center a decade ago, & so when my sister turned 5 the first thing I told my parents was enroll her in kumon because of how much it helped me & how beneficial it was while growing up. My sister enjoys taking out her kumon & has a great one-on-one connection with Ms. Shilpa. She is always there for her students & is constantly rewarding her students. My sister is always looking forward to the annual award ceremonies! We're always comparing how many trophies she has received so far vs what I got during my years at Ms. Shilpa's center.
