Netra will be deeply committed to the time tested traditions of teaching, practice and performance. The Academy is committed to excellence in the teaching, practise and performance of the traditional style of Bharthanatyam, Kuchipudi and Mohiniattam. Netra Center for Arts and Culture is a wonderful place to learn and nurture/foster one's interest in dance. It's an honor to learn Kuchipudi from such an accomplished, patient, and hardworking teacher like Deepa. It's a great place for beginners and for more advanced students - you will be challenged either way but that will only make you a better dancer!

I moved with my family to Bay Area few years ago and found out about Netra and Deepa and decided to give it a try. It was absolutely wonderful, I am so glad I joined Bharatnatyam classes with Deepa. She is a wonderful guru and a beautiful human being. Children and adults dance and practice together filling the environment with wonderful music and positive vibrations. I found a wonderful family in Netra and made trusted friends while learning dance. Not many places offer classical Indian dance classes for adults and I want to thank Deepa for offering classes for adults who want to learn dance.
Rated 5.0 Netra center for arts and culture indeed deserves more than 5 stars. I am pleased to know Ms Deepa Menon Ma'am and learn bharatnatyam from her. She is an amazing artist with sound knowledge of Various classical dance forms. She is friendly, fun loving, energetic, professional and disciplined. She also has her own TV show "Artist Today" air every Saturday at 12pm on KTSF26 channel. Which is must watch! I got lucky to see her live performance recently and I don't have enough words to describe how amazing it was. As a beginner I had zero knowledge of classical dance. But she made sure that I should get right understanding about posture and steps. Which is more important to get correct basics of any dance form. My journey with this center so far is joyful. I Recommend this center to everyone!

Deepa Maa'am is so good at teaching dance for all kind of dance lovers who want to learn indian classicals from kid to adult and her patience level is amazing!!Above everything she is an amazing personality. I am on break now and will join again and recommend all parents and adults must check this and i am sure you wont regret doing so

Her friendly attitude and encouraging persona help make Netra the best place for Indian Classical dance in the bay area. I was lucky enough to work with her last year on Kuchipudi and am looking forward to starting again next week. #greatgoingNetra

Deepa is a brilliant dancer, an amazing teacher and a role model to all her students .I really appreciated her friendly attitude and way of teaching. My daughter say her teacher is a nicest teacher ever I would agree.She communicates well her students and their families. Deepa for offering classes for adults who wants to learn dance. I recommend it for all ages.
