Consult, was paid for; I have to Thank Mr Hanks-for telling me that at this time, no amount of money could win this against entrenched Democrats like Abigail Spanberger and Jay (Two bullets) Jones. I was told in so many words that the only way to beat this is to either become a Federal employee, leave the state, or Become an exempted state employee.
While this is not good news, it at least gives me a method and an understanding of this. I still believe that this Paid Family medical leave law is WRONG. Forcing people into a tax that they did not agree to, and then creating a blanket NO OPT OUT, so that the trust fund can be filled with the working contributions of those that do not want this program, is not right.
In closing; this has been a sobering and eye opening experience for me. Would i pick SRIS law again for a CONSULT?
An honest answer would be NO. And not because of all the experience to get to this point. I would not pick them again because, i believe that from where i live-they are too far away, and do not have enough representation where i live; there are other aspects to why i would not select them again; but i got my answers for the foreseeable future; it cost me $195, but i got some answers i did not have before.
In all honesty; i am not a fan of Lawyers, attorney's and paralegals-i personally believe that lawyers make to much money, and with the money comes the power to say NO more times than i can COUNT.........

During our first phone conversation, I talked for about 30 minutes straight giving her the background of our issue. After asking only a few follow up questions, she produced a synopsis that hit every point we made. I have done a lot of interviews/reports and I was blown away by her ability to accurately capture that much information in such a short time! I chose to go with Sris Law Group to represent me for my child visitation case. There were a lot of complications with the case and several hurdles that we had to deal with, but the attorneys experience and ability to handle my case was phenomenal. The firm employs a staff that is courteous and helpful. In addition, the communication was prompt. I really liked that they were up front about what to expect and did not provide false expectations. The trial went well and I am happy that they were able to represent me. I definitely will go with them again if I have another issue arise.
