Rakesh is a thorough professional and he did a fantastic job with our wedding photography. Our event extended by an hour than what we had booked him for, but he was flexible, and we really appreciate him for that. We were on a tight budget considering it was COVID era wedding but to our surprise his rates were the most competitive in the marketplace and I would strongly recommend anyone looking for an event photographer to get his quote first. The outcome was a high-quality product which we will cherish for the rest of our lives. In addition to the highlight video, full event video and soft copies of the photographs, we also availed the hard cover album, and it came out to be a classy product. So, all in all we are very happy the way he managed this event single handedly and his stellar customer service. Would 100% work with him for our future events. We were told great things about Akash and his team from a close friend who was in the wedding industry. He said they were hired by his friend's wedding and that they were great. Even their cousins hired them too! At the day of our wedding, they were suited and ready for action. We could tell they enjoyed their work which put us at tremendous ease. They were great at directing everyone how to pose and move. We received many postitive feedbacks from our family and friends. One of the best decisions we made was having the Rajfoto team perform our wedding photography and videography!!! The team was super responsive to go over our needs and vision, communication with Akash was a breeze, clear cut on our needs, and what services were offered. Thier enthusiasm made us feel excited as we went through the wedding planning process. Throughout the entire wedding day we truly felt so special and taken care of every single moment was recorded with an intent to capture the best of everything, we truly appreciated the direction, the attention to detail, and commitment! We felt so at ease. The day flew by so quickly and everything felt like a blur once it was over, we were so blown away by the quick turnaround of all of the photos and we got to enjoy so many moments without rush during and after our honeymoon along with our loved ones. The videography was also curated beautifully, we are so happy we can share this for many years to come. Last but not least receiving the photo album… ABSOLUTELY gorgeous, timeless, and all of the photos were organized so thoughtfully and creatively with a mixture of black and whites and very clear photos as if you were there in person. We knew they did great things but we did not expected to be blown away by every aspect from the service to the amazing delivery. We also did not deal with any unfortunate surprise add-ones or hidden charges like we’ve heard from many stories from friends bookings at other weddings, they are very honest and very passionate about their work. We hired Raj Photo Video for their cinematography services. We had the pleasure of working with Ajay & Nick for our wedding events. Even though it was the first time meeting them both, they were both very personable and it felt very natural to have them capture all of our important moments. Ajay went above and beyond and was at times even a friend in addition to being a videographer for our events. He made sure to check in with us multiple times throughout the events and never made us feel like he was in a rush. Both Sameer (photographer) and Ajay (videographer) went out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable. They got the pictures we wanted and the footage needed for our video. When we ran into a few hiccups with time, they stayed a little past the allotted time to make sure they captured what was needed to put our photos and video together.

Finding a good photographer for a reasonable price is extremely difficult. My fiancé and I thought we had done just that, except 48 hours before our wedding our photographer cancelled. We were left scrambling to find someone on short notice. Luckily we found Rakesh. We didn’t have a lot of time to get to know him but he agreed to shoot our wedding and we hoped for the best. He showed up on time and from our first impression we had struck GOLD. He was extremely courteous and professional right off the bat and got right to work. Without direction he blended into our party and took candid shots of our guests. During the ceremony he was able to capture all the key moments you would expect then gave us a minute before all the glitzy one on one photos you want for the album. He had already scoped out the property for the best spots where the lighting and backdrop was just right and proceeded to position us to get the best results. I mean honestly, he stopped to show us how the pictures were coming out and we were blown away. At this point we started to forget about pictures and just be ourselves and have fun. After the one on one and family shots we were free to get back to our party and guests, but Rakesh continued to take candid shots. By the end of the night most people in our party felt so comfortable with him they thought he was a personal friend of ours that was photographing our wedding as a favor to us. He had amazing energy and read the room like no one I’ve ever seen. Truly a blessing to have him capture your event, but on 48 hrs notice it was literally a miracle. We would recommend him for anyone and 100% plan on using him in the future.

Where do i begin... I got engaged back in 2014 and immediately began looking for a photographer/videographer for my wedding. I knew this was going to be the most difficult task because I was working with a budget, but did not want to sacrifice on quality. After talking to many of my friends who got married and searching the internet day and night, I came across Raj photo video. From the very first time I reached out to Sameer, him and his family were nothing short of professional, knowledgeable and kind! Sameer had many different packages to offer me so I could stay on budget and still get everything that I wanted. My husband and I knew we were in good hands, so we were happy to book Raj photo video in early 2015. Sameer kept in contact with Joey and I through our very long (3 year) engagement and was always only a text message away if we had any questions. The week before my wedding, when absolutely everything that could go wrong did, Sameer was my voice of reason! He called me and said to enjoy the ride, even the bumps, because before I blink it will all be over. And boy was he right! The day of my wedding, May 6, 2017, Sameer and his family were prompt and got to work right away making sure they got pictures/video of everything. I contacted the company in February 2022 for a wedding in Upstate, NY in September 2022. Akash and I went back and forth to create a customized wedding package with everything I was looking for. He was very transparent with pricing and what was included or wasn't included in the package. The cost for travel from NYC to our venue was also reasonable. The package included professionally edited photos shared via google drive, an online photo gallery, film, and wedding album, and more. I also requested no show on social media and full length film for the wedding ceremony and reception. Akash and the videographer were very easy to work with on the day of the wedding and are very nice people! The pictures came out bautiful and we received all the shots we wanted! I am glad I went with a company who knows how to photograph Indian weddings. We also received an amazing highlight video! We were able to choose a custom album design and decide which photos we wanted to include. The album was delivered in perfect condition and was really great, amazing quality, and more than I would have imagined! I love that it came keepsake box that holds the album and a carrying case. We received a sneak peek of the photos about 2 weeks after the wedding, all photos by 2 months after, videos by 4 months and the album by 6 months. I would highly reccomend this company's services to anyone! Thank you so much for everything!
