We were about weeks into a home purchase, working with a national mortgage company that had pre-approved us on a specific set of terms. As the deadline approached, it became clear they weren't going to deliver — our contingencies were about to expire, and we were on the verge of losing either our deposit or the property. Neither of which were acceptable to us. A friend recommended we try Sanjeev Verma as our mortgage broker. This not normal that late into a purchase cycle and at that point I'd basically given up hope. Even our realtor thought there was no way we'd close in the eight days we had left , and was asking us to reconsider. I am glad we didn't. Sanjeev made it happen. He worked nights and weekends with us on every document the loan required. This wasn't a simple file — it was a complicated non-QM loan with non-standard documentation.
