Best DJ ever...I told Kabir that my Indian/Jewish/Peruvian wedding needed to be a banger, and the man really delivered. All night, guests told me it was the best wedding they'd ever been to and the dance floor was never empty. Kabir was so sweet and helpful building the playlist as well as keeping the night moving smoothly. Stop wasting your time/money and hire him IMMEDIATELY.

BEST DJ EVER for my Pakistani - Italian fusion wedding!! DJ Kabir is so friendly, cool and easy to work with. He made mixes for us from bollywood and western songs (not easy) for our dances and seamlessly played and blended a variety of songs at our wedding. There was not a dull moment on the dance floor. Our MC and Dhol player were also incredible and my guests are still raving about them and the awesome digital photobooth we had. My friends getting married next year even took his card at the end of the night for their wedding.

Working with Kabir was absolutely the best decision we made for our wedding. After having been to countless Punjabi weddings and being less than thrilled with the DJs, I watched Kabir with his team and I knew I just had to go with them for our event. He kept our parties absolutely rocking the entire time with his impeccable timing, playing the PERFECT songs at just the right moment. My sister and I hosted my brothers 50th birthday party in our back yard and Desi Beatzs was our DJ. He was the absolutely best! Awesome music, awesome equipments and just a fun guy! Hiring Kabir was easily our best wedding decision. He went above and beyond by 1) scoping the venue for us 2) coordinating with the priest; 3) ensuring the right music was played at the right time; 4) giving us recommendations when we felt lost; 4) making sure our ceremony and reception ran on time and; 5) kept a cool head when we ran into issues with other vendors and helped make adjustments to our schedules. I would give him a 11/10. I would recommend everyone reading this to connect with him even if you are undecided. He is very easy to talk to and is super understanding. All our friends and families are looking forward to working with him for future parties and weddings.

Kabir and his team did an amazing job at our wedding! They made the whole process easy on us (which was appreciated with all the chaos of wedding planning). They supplied us with some microphones and speakers for day one of our wedding. On day two the provided a photobooth, projector, and of course a stellar DJ. Kabir did a great job at keeping the energy up all night and the MC gave out all of our announcements in a timely and energetic manner. We also appreciated all of the pictures\videos they took throughout the night. The photobooth was a big hit. I would highly recommend them!

Everyone should book Kabir and his crew because they are truly one of the best DJ’s available. A very good communicator, great with kids, and has music for every occasion. I cannot speak highly enough about DJ Kabir and his team at Desi Beatz. We hired Desi Beatz for our Mehndi and Wedding this past weekend and both events were flawless- music, lights, everything. DJ Kabir is a very kind, patient, and professional DJ whose vibes are exactly what a bride needs on their big day(s). His team is absolutely wonderful too. DJ Kabir was very responsive in the whole planning process, shared great ideas for music and other special portions of our events, and truly made our events so memorable. We had a fusion Pakistani/American wedding and he was able to perfectly combine music from both cultures and read the crowd for the type of music they wanted to hear all night long. We can't wait to work with him again- I just need to drum up another reason to have a bash :)

We choose Kabir as the MC and DJ for our wedding in Punta Cana and we couldn't have been happier with our decision. We wanted to ensure we had great parties with good Indian music and lots of dancing! We got that and more! Kabir DJ’ed our sangeet and reception, and he picked music perfectly for both of these events. He did a great job reading the crowd and playing music that catered to everyone's taste. The dance floor was packed the entire night for both events! Kabir also supported the sound setup for our wedding ceremony, which was more than we hired him for. Whatever I say is not enough for how accomadating and proffessional Kabir is. From the first call, he was super friendly, responsive and willing to help make the event the way we want it. I think we had a pretty complex evening with need for live streaming, some pre recorded speeches and need for projector, but he made it seem all natural and simple. He was in touch with me and my brother regarding multitude of itenary changes during the evening and really just went with the flow. As for the music and lights, amazing. High quality speakers, greating lighting, awesome fog machine and great beats thru the whole night, he was also playing all special request songs all evening. I think i know who ill be calling and reffering to for all my DMV DJ needs

He worked with us right from the planning phase - we had a couple consultations to understand our requirements and he made suggestions accordingly. He worked with our family to learn our diverse taste in music and even customized a playlist especially for us. He even helped us with music mixes for our dance performances. Matt does it all!! On the day of the event, the team from Desi Beatzs covered many aspects of our party including lights, smoke guns, upstage dance floor lighting, outdoor and indoor speakers. DJ Matt personally came out a few days before the party to test out everything. Everyone enjoyed the music and Matt kept the crowd on the dance floor. A few weeks later people are still talking about the fun party, thanks to Desi Beatzs! We would recommend him for any DJ services - large or small.

Extremely professional. Kabir DJ'ed my son's graduation party and did an amazing job. He had all the professional equipment and knew exactly what we would need to make the event successful. He worked with us prior to the event to make sure the song list reflected what we wanted. He's very easy to work with and extremely responsive. The attendees absolutely loved it! Well that is what happens when Matt is your DJ and the dance party starts in the evening and goes way past midnight because no one wants to miss a beat ??
