Akash was absolutely wonderful, we are so overjoyed looking through our photos. Day of, he was incredibly professional, easy to work with, genuinely kind (this was probably my favorite thing, aside from the pictures!) and continually hyped us up, which put us at ease since we aren't typically the center of attention type of people. Upon sharing our photos, all our loved ones commented on the quality and beauty of the shots. We truly relived the day going through the pictures, and that is absolutely priceless. I first met Sameer when he was contracted to do my managers job. Sameer was so free and fun, really made a good impression on me. A few months later I got engaged and I asked him to do our engagement shots. We were extremely impressed and it made us to have him for our wedding. Raj Photo and Video did the videography for our wedding in Chelsea, New York this April. We hired them just before the event and they were completely professional from the first moment we contacted them. Every communication, by email, by phone and in person has been professional and helpful in every way. On the day of the wedding, we really appreciated that they brought in extra staff so we would not miss any important parts or angles of our event! They were easy, kind, unobtrusive and polite in every way. We never even knew when they were around! It was seamless! We all felt completely comfortable around their team. One of their staff, who had been coordinating with us before the wedding, even came over from another event late in the evening to ensure all had been smooth and just as we had envisioned. We considered many videographers in the NYC area for this wedding, which was a grand and elaborate affair. But we chose Raj Photo and Video for their incredible thoughtfulness and very high interest from the beginning in making the video a treasured memory, and providing us with exactly the feel and direction that we would most like to see portrayed. We would like to highly recommend them to anyone looking for videography at their events in the NYC area.

My husband and I chose Raj Photo/Video for our Nikkah ceremony and wedding reception in September of 2021. My family has many events, and this was the first time that I felt complete security that the team I hired would take note of all our requests, however big or small, and have a true interest in capturing our most special moments. Sameer, Ajay, and Nick made themselves available to discuss with me the timeline of each day, went over poses/photos that we wanted to shoot. The communication was seamless, and I honestly could not have been happier to just focus on getting married and having fun. This was all reflected in the final product. A true thing of magic! Our family adores our photos and especially our wedding highlight/video. The emotions and love captured hits right every single time we watch it! It was important to us that we had a team that understood our culture and religion as well -- without going into too much detail, they knew exactly what moments needed to be captured at all the perfect angles. We never worried that they were based in NJ, and we were having our wedding out in Suffolk County at my home. They came early and did not miss a beat. I truly forgot they were located out of state. Do not worry, they will dedicate their time and give you 150%. Not only that, but Sameer was the best bridesmaid! He was always there to help me carry and set my train. Where do i begin... I got engaged back in 2014 and immediately began looking for a photographer/videographer for my wedding. I knew this was going to be the most difficult task because I was working with a budget, but did not want to sacrifice on quality. After talking to many of my friends who got married and searching the internet day and night, I came across Raj photo video. From the very first time I reached out to Sameer, him and his family were nothing short of professional, knowledgeable and kind! Sameer had many different packages to offer me so I could stay on budget and still get everything that I wanted. My husband and I knew we were in good hands, so we were happy to book Raj photo video in early 2015. Sameer kept in contact with Joey and I through our very long (3 year) engagement and was always only a text message away if we had any questions. The week before my wedding, when absolutely everything that could go wrong did, Sameer was my voice of reason! He called me and said to enjoy the ride, even the bumps, because before I blink it will all be over. And boy was he right! The day of my wedding, May 6, 2017, Sameer and his family were prompt and got to work right away making sure they got pictures/video of everything. My guests had nothing but great things to say about the crew including how versatile, creative and fun they were! Less than a month has gone by and we have already gotten our pictures back with a link to share so all of our guests can enjoy them as well. I am simply amazed at what a beautiful job Raj photo video has done. Because the day went by so fast, I can't remember all of the little details. However, Sameer has brought them all back to life with his stunning pictures. He truly captured each moment. During the six-hour party on that day, both Raj and Sameer were extremely professional and patient. Both the Album and Blue-Ray DVDs came out to be EXCEPTIONALLY beautiful; in addition, each and every one of the end product came out to be First Class quality. My husband and I had the best experience with Sameer and his entire team. From our engagement photo shoot till we got our wedding day...Sameer was always there for us with any question we had during the wedding. Words fail to express how we felt after we saw our wedding pictures. Amazing work, fabulous captures. Very friendly, accomodating and easy to work with him and his team. Sameer is very talented and has a beautiful vision. I planned an indian wedding in about just 3 months, and i am very fortunate to have found such an amazing vendor last minute. The team is very professional and doesnt care much about the amount of time they have to put in, their concern is the quality they deliver. Finding a good photographer for a reasonable price is extremely difficult. My fiancé and I thought we had done just that, except 48 hours before our wedding our photographer cancelled. We were left scrambling to find someone on short notice. Luckily we found Rakesh. We didn’t have a lot of time to get to know him but he agreed to shoot our wedding and we hoped for the best. He showed up on time and from our first impression we had struck GOLD. He was extremely courteous and professional right off the bat and got right to work. Without direction he blended into our party and took candid shots of our guests. During the ceremony he was able to capture all the key moments you would expect then gave us a minute before all the glitzy one on one photos you want for the album. He had already scoped out the property for the best spots where the lighting and backdrop was just right and proceeded to position us to get the best results. I mean honestly, he stopped to show us how the pictures were coming out and we were blown away. At this point we started to forget about pictures and just be ourselves and have fun. After the one on one and family shots we were free to get back to our party and guests, but Rakesh continued to take candid shots. By the end of the night most people in our party felt so comfortable with him they thought he was a personal friend of ours that was photographing our wedding as a favor to us. He had amazing energy and read the room like no one I’ve ever seen. Truly a blessing to have him capture your event, but on 48 hrs notice it was literally a miracle. We would recommend him for anyone and 100% plan on using him in the future.

I contacted the company in February 2022 for a wedding in Upstate, NY in September 2022. Akash and I went back and forth to create a customized wedding package with everything I was looking for. He was very transparent with pricing and what was included or wasn't included in the package. The cost for travel from NYC to our venue was also reasonable. The package included professionally edited photos shared via google drive, an online photo gallery, film, and wedding album, and more. I also requested no show on social media and full length film for the wedding ceremony and reception. Akash and the videographer were very easy to work with on the day of the wedding and are very nice people! The pictures came out bautiful and we received all the shots we wanted! I am glad I went with a company who knows how to photograph Indian weddings. We also received an amazing highlight video! We were able to choose a custom album design and decide which photos we wanted to include. The album was delivered in perfect condition and was really great, amazing quality, and more than I would have imagined! I love that it came keepsake box that holds the album and a carrying case. We received a sneak peek of the photos about 2 weeks after the wedding, all photos by 2 months after, videos by 4 months and the album by 6 months. I would highly reccomend this company's services to anyone! Thank you so much for everything!
