The school prides itself on providing a strong foundation in ballet, Indian classical dance, and modern street styles (Hip-Hop and Bollywood). As an Indian dance company who primarily uses Bollywood music, we teach our students not only discipline in body movement but the art of facial expression and stage presence, while providing an understanding of lyrics and culture to enhance our students' depth of performance. AATMA's highly-trained dancers have worked with some of the industry's top artists around the world. Our goal is to deliver a "WOW" factor to our clients while maintaining a genuine balance of both eastern and western art forms. AATMA Performing Arts’ accredited dance school teaches at 9 studios in New Jersey and New York. Our group classes are conducted in a wide range of styles (Bollywood, Indo-Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Bharatanatyam, Kathak, and Indian Folk) for students ages 4 and up.
