A few months later I got engaged and I asked him to do our engagement shots. We were extremely impressed and it made us to have him for our wedding. I hired Akash for my Indian wedding in August 2022. He provided photo services for our pre-wedding events and photo/video for our wedding day & reception. From the first inquiry phone call, all the way to receiving our final products, Akash has been great to work with. When I requested a few changes on my wedding highlight video, there was no issue on his end. He strives to make his clients happy and we absolutely love how all of the photos turned out! Part of our package was also a pre-wedding photoshoot where we got to meet Akash & shoot with him several months prior to the wedding. Not only did the photos turn out great but we got to be more comfortable with him and his style. There were many things to worry about throughout the planning process and the big day itself but I can safely say I had no worry at all with Raj Foto. Thank you!!

Rakesh and his team are utterly professional and the ideal team to work for your event. No matter the event, weather, or time - they put in 110% into their work. They shot our COVID wedding and were extremely accommodating and creative. While we had limited events, they made sure to capture even the smallest, intimate moment with our small group of guests. They were also timely in providing shots afterward and the highlight video. Everything provided was social media compatible. Make no mistake about it, New York Film Studios provides top notch photography and cinema services. I had the fortune to meet Girish in 2017 when he flew to Alaska to photograph my friend's wedding. My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Raj Photo Video for our wedding photography, and out of all the important choices we made during our entire wedding process, this was easily one of the best! From the start, they were very warm toward us, and they made it clear that they did not intend to only capture us from afar. Rather, they entered our lives as new friends, and the fun we had together naturally brought out our most photogenic moments. Like many photographers, they have an expert eye for all the elements that made a good picture: posing, lighting, backdrop, etc. But where they really stand out is their personality. They are charming, disarming, and every one of our family and friends loved them. Corralling dozens of people into group shots is not easy, but they were naturals at working with everyone. Finally, I’d just like to comment on how they repeatedly went above and beyond their obligations to make sure that we were happy. For example, when we realized after the wedding that we had forgotten to show them some of our home decorations, they took time out of their weekend to drive over and take those pictures. We chose them for all our wedding events because of how great Sameer was (engagement photo shoot, garba, haldi, wedding, and reception). I loved the dedication that Sameer provided. Sameer, Nick and his team photographed and filmed our wedding a few months ago and did a fantastic job! They work with you and really listen to what you want to do. For example, we didn't want to spend much time taking posed photographs, and rather opted to get as much candid footage as possible and spend more time interacting with our guests and enjoying our wedding, and they never made us feel like we were making a bad choice or that this was an inconvenience to them somehow, which was not at all the case with other photographers we had contacted before going with Raj Photo Video. They also really worked to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera, helped us relax and even managed all the crazy family photo requests like pros. If you're looking for a photographer that will work with you rather than tell you what you need to do, highlight who you are as a couple, and really focus on capturing all the little moments of your wedding, they're definitely the people to go to!

One of the best decisions we made was having the Rajfoto team perform our wedding photography and videography!!! The team was super responsive to go over our needs and vision, communication with Akash was a breeze, clear cut on our needs, and what services were offered. Thier enthusiasm made us feel excited as we went through the wedding planning process. Throughout the entire wedding day we truly felt so special and taken care of every single moment was recorded with an intent to capture the best of everything, we truly appreciated the direction, the attention to detail, and commitment! We felt so at ease. The day flew by so quickly and everything felt like a blur once it was over, we were so blown away by the quick turnaround of all of the photos and we got to enjoy so many moments without rush during and after our honeymoon along with our loved ones. The videography was also curated beautifully, we are so happy we can share this for many years to come. Last but not least receiving the photo album… ABSOLUTELY gorgeous, timeless, and all of the photos were organized so thoughtfully and creatively with a mixture of black and whites and very clear photos as if you were there in person. We knew they did great things but we did not expected to be blown away by every aspect from the service to the amazing delivery. We also did not deal with any unfortunate surprise add-ones or hidden charges like we’ve heard from many stories from friends bookings at other weddings, they are very honest and very passionate about their work. Finding a good photographer for a reasonable price is extremely difficult. My fiancé and I thought we had done just that, except 48 hours before our wedding our photographer cancelled. We were left scrambling to find someone on short notice. Luckily we found Rakesh. We didn’t have a lot of time to get to know him but he agreed to shoot our wedding and we hoped for the best. He showed up on time and from our first impression we had struck GOLD. He was extremely courteous and professional right off the bat and got right to work. Without direction he blended into our party and took candid shots of our guests. During the ceremony he was able to capture all the key moments you would expect then gave us a minute before all the glitzy one on one photos you want for the album. He had already scoped out the property for the best spots where the lighting and backdrop was just right and proceeded to position us to get the best results. I mean honestly, he stopped to show us how the pictures were coming out and we were blown away. At this point we started to forget about pictures and just be ourselves and have fun. After the one on one and family shots we were free to get back to our party and guests, but Rakesh continued to take candid shots. By the end of the night most people in our party felt so comfortable with him they thought he was a personal friend of ours that was photographing our wedding as a favor to us. He had amazing energy and read the room like no one I’ve ever seen. Truly a blessing to have him capture your event, but on 48 hrs notice it was literally a miracle. We would recommend him for anyone and 100% plan on using him in the future.

My wife had seen these guys at another family wedding and told me we had to go with them. The price was way more than what I expected but so was absolutely everything during the wedding planning process. Sameer come to Boston to do our engagement shoot. He knew how much I didn't want to do any of this and was able to turn my day into such a fun time. He brought a lot of positive energy. Moving forward a few months to the wedding.We had about 6 events that required their services. The whole team was there on time and dressed professionally. I can't stress how important it is to me that they dressed professionally.I've been to weddings and have seen vendors wear jeans and hoodies and these are big weddings with 300 plus people. These guys were clean and Sharp. When you're getting married pictures can become very annoying. It's great to have a team that is so meticulous about what they're doing.they make sure that everyone is in the right spot that no one is being hidden or a hand is covering their face. But they also know how to keep it moving. Very important at these types of weddings when you have 300 people. Before during and after everything communication with these guys has been a breeze and a pleasure. The team is with you during some emotional moments. They're empathetic to what is happening around them and seem to just know what to say. Must be the experience. All my guests love the playful nature of how the photographers captured the moments. Raj Photo and Video did the videography for our wedding in Chelsea, New York this April. We hired them just before the event and they were completely professional from the first moment we contacted them. Every communication, by email, by phone and in person has been professional and helpful in every way. On the day of the wedding, we really appreciated that they brought in extra staff so we would not miss any important parts or angles of our event! They were easy, kind, unobtrusive and polite in every way. We never even knew when they were around! It was seamless! We all felt completely comfortable around their team. One of their staff, who had been coordinating with us before the wedding, even came over from another event late in the evening to ensure all had been smooth and just as we had envisioned. We considered many videographers in the NYC area for this wedding, which was a grand and elaborate affair. But we chose Raj Photo and Video for their incredible thoughtfulness and very high interest from the beginning in making the video a treasured memory, and providing us with exactly the feel and direction that we would most like to see portrayed.
