We have been with Silicon Valley for over a year and we have been happy with the progress our high schooler has made in his coding abilities. The instructors are good and knowledgeable. My daughter took the intermediate python programming class and it really helped her build on her existing foundations. The online live class is organized with the teacher sharing the goals homework and reviewing it. The teacher is engaged throughout and gives feedback. There's a whatsapp group for parents to stay informed on classes, curriculum etc. The support team behind the scenes is equally great and responsive. They'll help resolve all queries. Starting as a student at SV4U, I've now become one of their instructors, and it's been an amazing journey. This place is all about making coding fun and easy for kids. They really care about each student, helping them learn at their own pace. As a student, I felt supported every step of the way, and now, as an instructor, I get to pass that support on to others. What's cool is that SV4U keeps up with all the latest tech, so kids are always learning new things. My son has been taking online Scratch lesson with SiliconValley4U for about a year. He started with zero experience when he was six year old. But now he is able to code up some very cool and fun stuff on Scratch! More importantly, he has been having fun in the class by working with the instructor and classmates. Positive: Great classes. Great instructors. My kid had a lot of fun. Negative: There were several administration errors, but all the issues were resolved. I believe the errors occurred because the administrators are in separate locations around the world. I do appreciate that the issues I brought up were quickly resolved.
