I shipped my goods from US to Chennai, India. First I would tell the good part. delivery at Chennai was very smooth except for arranging the delivery. Shipment was in good condition except for 2 broken picture frames and a handicraft. Pick up process and handling of the luggage in USA was very bad, fedex picked up and threw the packages into the truck. On top of that the packing were redone and charged me for that.

Universal Relocation works well for small packages delivery from US to India (Carton boxes) based on my experience, I haven't tried for a large shipments through them from US to India. Only issue I had is that they gave a timeline of 60 - 90 days for the door to door delivery from US to India but in reality it took more than 120+ days for the shipment to reach my home. Customer support was very responsive for any queries but they had no control on the timely delivery. I had to follow-up multiple times with them to get delivery status. Finally I received my shipment boxes without any damages after 120+ days. I would have given 4 or more star if the shipment was delivered under 90 days as they quoted during initial enquiry.

I moved my items from US to Hyderabad. The US side of things are better and the staff was helpful to accommodate picking 5 boxes and a TV within a day to their warehouse. It took 3 months to ship the Items from their warehouse to California port for shipping. The Updates were regular over email till items reached my home. After 5 months of wait (May to Oct), items finally arrived with torn boxes. ( I was told its because of Customs check). No items were lost in the process. Overall Good experience. I recommend to use the service if time is not a constraint for delivery and use their box packing for any delicate items. ( My 49 inch TV came perfectly packed in a wooden box with no damage). 3 stars is for the time it took for items to reach my home

Happy - Disappointed/Stressed - HAPPY This is the long review but please make sure you read it as I have given all the pros and cons of the service. How Happy turned into Disappointment I used thier service to get the custom dining table which was 9 ft by 4ft big. The priya from Chennai offcie hleped to get good estimate and with all my questions. It took while for finalizing all the things as the contract which we need to sign before the shiopment hand over was little confusing with lot of unclear clause. Priya helped me to understand take out unneccesary clauses out. The real issue started when the order came to NJ. The contract I had signed was supposed to be for door to door service from Mumbai to Long Island NY. The person from NJ office was kept comaplaining that the order is ver heavy and I need to pay $750 extra to recive the door service. That person said its so heavy they need to hire another service and all. I kept in touch with Priya and she was able to convince the NJ office maanger to ship my stuff. Finally my stuff came up to my doors and see who delivered the stuff UNIVERSAL RELOCATIONS truck. Guys who came to drop the stuff off didnt complain aboout the weight of the shipment or anythings. My guess this manager from NJ office was just trying get extra money from me as they know we dont have any optiuion but pay to get the stuff we got from India. But Priya was so helpful in this whole process. If you are using the service make sure the size and weight of your shipment is inside the contract and you communicate the weight and size in all emails. Thats what saved me $750.

Had a very pleasant experience shipping with Ship Indus LLC. The manager was very prompt and helpful in his responses to my queries over whatsapp. I had to ship some food (prasadam) from US to India. The manager confirmed that the food was acceptable to be shipped by checking a photo. The portal is excellent one stop shop to upload necessary documents and to track the package.
