We did our son’s birthday party there. The hall was just amazing. Loved the ambience. And the catering team did a great job in arranging things & helped us a lot when we lacked few items for the birthday party. You can easily customise the dishes based on your need. We ordered low spicy food for the kids & they were absolutely delicious. Tried their food couple of times. Best place for south indian food. Surprisingly, Vegetarian dishes were good here too.
Ordered paneer kaju rice and chapati mutton curry ! The taste is awesome ! Highly Recommend to try this restaurant if you like Andhra - Hyderabadi taste! Loved the food ! Lovely staff and ambience
Went here for Sunday buffet and loved every bit ! They had decent veg and non veg options- pakora, gobi 65, garlic chickens d tandoori chicken. The main course was equally good - butter chicken, egg masala, gongura, drumsticks, paneer methi, mutton and jackfruit biryani. Every dish was very authentic and flavorful. To conclude they had chai, fruit custard and jamun rabri. Each of us had atleast three servings of the fruit custard. And all this in a very reasonable price. Highly recommend this place for its buffet.
Visited Bhimavaram Ruchulu with my family and had an absolutely wonderful time! The food was bursting with authentic South Indian flavors. We ordered the Pandhalapaka Style Fry Piece — spicy, crispy, and cooked to perfection. The Cashew Curry was rich and creamy, paired beautifully with their soft and flavorful Garlic Naan. The Tandoori Whole Fish was a showstopper — perfectly marinated and grilled, juicy on the inside with a delicious char. The Chicken Manchuria was another highlight — crispy, tangy, and full of flavor. The ambiance was warm and family-friendly, and the service was attentive and courteous. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving real Andhra-style food. Will definitely be coming back
I recently ordered from this restaurant through DoorDash, and I was very pleased with my experience. My order included Pulav Rice, Andhra Gare Kodi Kura, Rajolu Royyalu, and Gongura Shrimp Biryani (Pandhalapaka Style), all with Desi Spice. The food was flavorful and authentically spiced, with each dish offering a unique taste of South Indian cuisine. The Pulav Rice was fragrant and paired well with the curries. Portion sizes were generous, and everything was packed well for delivery. Overall, I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for bold, authentic Indian flavors and quality food.
I visited Brundavan for the first time, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The food was absolutely delicious, with generous portions perfect for sharing. What made my experience even more memorable was our server, Sonu. He was incredibly friendly, took the time to explain the dishes, and was exceptionally accommodating and attentive. I give it a solid 5 stars!
After a long gap of 2+ yrs we had a great food there. They had good verity of options The mutton/chicken biriyani and Appam was really good. They don’t charge for kids under 7yrs old. That’s the the best part
Their raitha and salan are too good - for Biriyani's. I insist. You will get fresh biriyani's during weekends. We tried almost all the chicken biriyani's in Brundavan. Dum biriyani, Boneless chicken biriyani and Potlam biriyani are all good. I felt gongura taste is missing in their Gongura chicken biriyani and it's bit spicy with too much masala. Naan's and Butter Chicken were good. Non-Veg Appetizers are Okayish. Biriyani's during weekdays, chicken pieces weren't fresh and was hard to chew.
Ordered Mirapakaya bajji through Uber eats - it was stale, full of besan flour and guess the chilli was almost 100 days old. Seeds inside chilli weren't deseeded and the stuffing inside bajji was raw.
Amazing food! We had malai kofta, jali chicken tikka and both were so good. Especially malai kofta was the best that I’ve had ever. Nice staff and good ambience. Must go
This afternoon, Mar 7 2023, I decided to do a pickup from here and I was pleasantly surprised at how good and spicy their Paneer Biryani is. I am definitely going again to try other stuff but if you're looking for a biryani place, this one is definitely worth the time. The portion is pretty good and their raita is simple and feels like home!
I ordered haleem from this restaurant, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. It was my first time trying food from this place, and the experience exceeded my expectations. The haleem was rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, making it an absolute delight. I’ll definitely be ordering from here again!
We were on our way to a different restaurant for lunch and happen to see this place on El Camino Real. We decided to try this place immediately. Very friendly staff and decent decors with booth seats. We ordered the mutton potlam biryani, chettinad chicken curry, lemon soda, tandoori roti and Lacha Paratha. All the items were very tasty and delicious. Not too oily and not too salty. Just the right amount. Our waiter was very friendly, casual and made sure that our orders and needs were met in a timely manner. They have weekend buffet that we will definitely visit. The price was also reasonable. Definitely recommend this place for lunch.
Awesome Taste and Services!! I recently visited Bay Area couple of weeks back!! daily went to have Apolo Fish, Fish Fry, Gongura Potlam Goat Biriyani, Gongura Chicken Biriyani and Pathar Ka Ghosh especially the pudina chicken!!I strongly recommend to all South/North Indians!! Must visit!!
Went here after a good biking day exclusively for Potlam biryani and could not have been more satisfied. We started with Hara Bara Kabab which was very delicious and crumbles as you dig through it. For the main course we ordered Chicken Potlam Biryani and Gongura Paneer Biryani. Both Biryanis were extraordinary and Potlam was the most favorite. The chicken was delicious and so was the paneer. We paired this with a lime soda. Unfortunately the place doesn't have buttermilk.
I like brundavan for it being one Indian restaurant that serves tasty meals with fine dining experience and is open till late until mid night on Fri/Sat and till 10 PM on other days. The restaurant is spacious not cramped. They serve variety of veg and non veg meals. The menu is not too elaborate but has enough options to revisit. Their biryanis are too good.
I often take paneer biryani. The taste is consistent. On a high spicy side though so ordering a mild version is highly suggested. But we enjoy having that with the side of raita/yoghurt that comes along. Must try.
They also run a separate banquet hall within the same shopping complex (moonlite center).
A relatively new restaurant which has just started indoor dining. The service is good and the food is authentic Hyderabadi cuisine. I do wish portion sizes could be a little more given prices. But given rising costs, understand the constraints. Recommend the following items:
Mutton lagan gosht: A rich gravy with some unique spices and blended almonds for creaminess. Not too spicy. The mutton is soft although they used a lot of meat attached to bone (which is considered a good part).
Pathar ke kebab: Goat kebabs where the meat is pounded, spiced and grilled. A bit chewy in texture but really delicious with the onions, lemon juice and green chutney.
Fire naan: Dough has been mixed with some chillies but is only mildly spicy. Rubbed with a bit of ghee/butter.
Garlic naan: dough has been mixed with garlic and chillies and rubbed with butter.
Double ka meetha: a Hyderabadi variant of the North Indian shahi tukda. The bread was dissolved into a concoction of sugar, cream and dry fruits. A bit too sweet for my liking but can try once.
The food was delicious overall and the meat is halal. A worthwhile dining experience.
A coworker took me here for lunch, and the food was amazing. Their lunch special was the best bang for the buck. And delicious. The next day I bought my mom here and she loved it as well. The quantity and quality were both good. Prob the best Biryani I’ve had.
I had a delightful dining experience at Brundavan restaurant. The Apollo fish served as our starter was the star of the dinner; it was perfectly seasoned and had a fantastic crunch. For the main course, we savored the Chicken Shahi Zaffrani with garlic naan and the Chicken Potlam Biryani. Both dishes were rich in flavor and left us thoroughly satisfied. To end on a sweet note, we indulged in the Double Ka Meetha, which was a delightful dessert. What added to the charm was that the restaurant is open until 12am on weekends, allowing us to enjoy our meal at a leisurely pace. Highly recommended!
I specifically went there to try their Goat Haleem which was superb. I’ve never tried this dish before. Though it was a bit spicy for my taste, the slow cooked goat and the creamy texture of lentils and wheat was so delicious that it makes me want to come back for more. I wish the serving size were bigger.
Had the mutton dum biryani, chicken dum biryani and haleem from this place.
One of the best biriyani s in the bay area, properly spicy and flavorful with enough quantity. Haleem was topped generously with bista and chili oil.
They have lunch buffet from Fri - Sun till 3pm. Great variety of food items, veg and non veg. Include multiple veg and non veg starters, multiple biryani s, sweets, live appam counter and rotis, chat items etc. cost 22-23/head
Would definitely recommend.
Addition: Peshawari tikka is great, good masala, good charring. Tried Khubani ka meetha also, it was nice.
Relatively new restaurant with ample seating for dine in. The preparation for most of the dishes is Hyderbadi. We had the Apollo Fish and the boneless chicken biryani. The taste and the flavors were exceptional. The biryani had the right mix of spices. Recommend to order the medium spicy. The staff is polite, quick and have a sense of humor.
I went to this restaurant today for their buffet and it was genuinely one of the best experiences I’ve had in the Bay Area. The buffet had so many options — both veg and non-veg, and everything looked and tasted fresh.
As a non-veg lover, I was seriously impressed. The mutton dum biryani was easily the star — spicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. They also had appam, which was such a nice surprise, and it paired really well with the curries.
What really stood out was that they were serving fresh naan straight to the table, and all the food was hot, not sitting around getting cold like at some buffets. You could tell they really cared about quality.
The service was amazing too — super friendly staff who kept checking in and clearing plates quickly. It made the whole experience even better.
Honestly, I’ve tried quite a few restaurants around here, and this one takes the top spot for me now. Great food, great service, and such a good vibe overall. I’ll definitely be going back again soon!
I recently had the pleasure of trying the Gongura Chicken Biryani and authentic Indian-style Haleem, and I have to say, it was an incredible culinary experience. The Gongura Chicken Biryani was absolutely delicious—fragrant basmati rice, tender chicken, and the unique tanginess from the Gongura leaves really set this dish apart. The balance of spices and that refreshing zing from the Gongura made every bite a delight.
However, the real game-changer was the Haleem. It was the epitome of comfort food, rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced. The slow-cooked meat and lentils formed a thick, velvety texture, and the fried onions, coriander, and squeeze of lemon added the perfect finishing touches. It was incredibly satisfying and truly authentic in every way.
If you're a fan of Indian cuisine, I highly recommend trying these two dishes—each one offers something special, and together, they create an unforgettable meal. The combination of the tangy biryani and the rich, comforting haleem is a must-try!
We went first time for dinner and Love the atmosphere and ambience of this resto. The service was good. Food was very delicious as we ordered Appetizers: Chicken Jali tikka (very good flavor of tikka and nicely cooked). Chicken Zalzala was very good in taste. Garlic naan and bullet naan was spicy and nice. Must visit this place if you want to try Indian food. Will definitely try their buffet ??
1. 4.5/ 5 for the buffet , it was very good
2.1/5 for the lady at the front who receives the guests , poor service and ignores and don’t respond to customers requests
Highly recommended for the food but do yourselves a favor and get takeout. They’ve always been short staffed for dine-in for the past few months and just need to disable their that option on their profile.
Very packed around 1pm during weekend buffet. There were a decent number of options but pretty salty on average. What disappointed me a bit was the naan was kinda dry.
I am a huge fan of Brundavan. I regularly order from here. Since last few weeks, I observed that the food quality and the taste has come down. If this keeps going I would stop ordering from here.
Food was excellent, but service was very poor. 2 of the items we ordered never arrived. We saw a lot of people weren’t served food even after waiting for an hour. We felt lucky to be served so quickly. Hope the management increases the staff soon, would be too bad for this restaurant to shut down due to poor service
Didn't impress us, but wasn't bad.
We got paneer biryani, haleem, bagara Baigan, and mutton Lagan Gohst. We asked for the biryani and lagan Gohst to be spicy.
The haleem was from pista house, so it was fine, but you can get it from other places.
Nothing was remotely spicy, nor that flavorful in general. The lagan Gohst was the best, but still didn't stand out to us.
This place isn't bad, it's just that there's lots of good indian places in south bay so the competition is really stiff.
Gongura paneer biryani and butter paneer was good! Also their garlic naan is really nice!
Only thing I didn’t liked was the service, server was taking things up even while we did not finished eating yet and also got us bill too! (FYI- it wasn’t their closing time)
I ordered boneless chicken biryani and my experience was not so good. Literally I had to search for chicken pieces and found only 5. For 16$ not worth it
We dined for dinner, service is good and warming, food tastes rich in flavor (kebabs) and we’ve been here specifically for Haleem, did reach expectations. However, the only dish i was very disappointed is Garlic naan. It’s very white on top, burnt at the bottom, undercooked and the bread is heavy. It’s a shame that such a huge restraunt served a messy naan. Of course the naan was pulled out from billing though. But i see lack of persistence in people that a single dish speaks about the reputation of restaurant. This messy bread surpassed the grill, skipped from eyes of the sous chef, head-chef and the waiter/waitress to the dining table. None noticed it prior serving to customer. I notice vibrations in my gut and darn hungry, hence pulled of edible parts from break and enjoyed with entree. My bottom line is don’t expect customers to come back with complaints, better make it right in first go, this leads to saving everyone’s crucial time spent in the restaurant and a happy customer with a successful business with splendid feedback & ratings. Sorry, but honestly, This is the only reason i gave 3 stars!
The Gongura Chicken Potlam Biryani and Khubani ka Meetha with ice cream were delicious. The service and ambiance were incredibly peaceful and pleasant.
Food is good but extremely spicy even for Indians. Even if you ask them to make it less spicy they cannot change it. The biryanis especially are almost non edible because of spice levels.
Chicken Dum Biryani was just yum. Gongura Chicken Biryani used to be good, but now it’s more spicy and had less flavor. Haleem wasn’t as good as last year’s, it’s more chunky and spicy. Pickup was ready on time.
Next Visit: Dine in this time, that too after long time since pandemic, ordered gongura mutton and tandoori roti. Gongura mutton was out of the world, didn’t expect it to be so good, mutton was cooked so well, it’s melting in mouth, boneless chicken biryani was super spicy and sumptuous. They’re out of Haleem but others didn’t disappoint at all.
Recent takeout: Ordered gongura chicken biryani, veg biryani, paneer biryani, haleem and hara bhara kabab. Biryanis were super spicy. If you’re into spiciness, there you go. Haleem is below average, actually bland and less meaty, quality is coming down. Hara bara kebab is better off for dine-in, though tasty became soft and mushy as packed hot.
This eatery is done up in warm colors and surprising textures. If weapon-level spicy is your thing, do help yourself to their biryani. The cream stone chicken tikka is yummy! The soft serve ice cream is of no particular flavor. Priced at $24 per person , this eatery offers a wide variety of dishes.
Gongura Potlam Biryani and Kubhani ka metta with ice cream we’re the must try.
Haleem was not at all worthy it was dry.
The service and the ambiance was Soo peaceful and good.
The essence of Thai cooking is that it is an amalgamation of texture, color , taste and the ingredients are incorporated to not only enhance the flavor of the dish but also for its medicinal properties. It is a conglomeration of discrete food ingredients fused to create a harmonious blend.

Thai food combines essential qualities of multiple international cuisines and tastes salty, spicy and sweet; all at the same time. If you are an Indian living in the United States of America, chances are that you regularly crave to taste some authentic Indian dishes. Many people from North Indian states like Haryana, Punjab, and Gujarat have settled down in the United States over recent decades, and even though their lifestyles are completely American, deep down at their cores, they are very much in touch with their roots.
