We decided to go with Rupali after a friend's recommendation and we are so glad we did. We were first time home buyers and she was very helpful at every step right from: before the purchase, during the purchase and after the purchase. She is very responsive at was always willing to show up whenever we needed. She is a good negotiator and always acted as our attorney and got us what we wanted through negotiations. There are no two ways about it...Shanti's professional handling of my recent vacant land purchase in Durham just a few miles from downtown has been NOTHING short of extraordinary and exemplary! From the get-go, she demonstrated a keen insight about that which makes a given real estate investment a great one! She did thorough research before we made an offer, paid attention to all of the small details I needed to be aware of, and ultimately negotiated my purchase of a VERY special and unique lakefront lot (AND the lake!!) at $34,000 BELOW the original asking price! We cannot thank Rupali enough for her services. In our neighborhood, we had a short sale, a cash sale, and a third sale (less than a year ago) far below market for homes nearly the exact same floor plan as ours. We had to sell our home, but were very leery of putting it on the market due to those prior low sales. When Rupali told us the price she wanted to list our home for, we thought it was too high. She told us not to worry and asked us to trust her. We had an offer 48 hours later very close to asking price! It was unbelievable. We anticipated sitting on the market awhile just like the other homes, and were amazed at how quick we were under contract. Rupali guided us through the sales process (it had been years since we last sold a home) and was very responsive. We were worried that the house would not appraise for the contract price and literally bugged her every day for updates. Rupali again told us not to worry. The appraisal came back fine; no adjustments due to those past sales. Rupali was fantastic. We sold the house days ago and are so thankful we chose her. We highly recommend her services.
