Nrityamrut Dance Academy is dedicated to spread rich Indian culture through Dance. Students of Nrityamrut Dance Academy are taught in compliance with the syllabus of a renowned University in India and are encouraged to take certification exams annually. Rooted in the tradition of Kathak, Bollywood and Folk dances, we constantly explore new creative ways of bringing out the true essence of Indian dance. Students’ huge successes at various prestigious dance competitions proves the quality and unique dance training and choreography offered at Nrityamrut Dance Academy. A great after school program for children to learn and be connected to dance everyday while getting the school work done with supervision.
Rated 5.0 I am simply so glad to be a part of Nrityamrut Dance Academy. I started my class in October of 2014 and progressed very well in Kathak dancing and this is all thanks to Amruta. She is a wonderful instructor who gives you personalized attention and makes sure you learn the steps perfectly. She is always encouraging and has been so flexible with adjusting my classes as my work schedule is always changing. I would highly recommend her classes for kids and adults if your interested in classical indian dance. 3 cheers to Amruta you are the best!!!!!
Rated 5.0 My daughter and I have been going to Amrutha for Kathak dance lessons for many years. We love it. I would like to say that Amrutha is a dedicated teacher who not only loves to teach but also has a real passion for dancing. Her classes range from children to adults. We have done several performances as well as competitions. And I personally felt proud when us older women (but not that old :)) won first place at a festival last year! This was all due to Amrutha's dedication, hard work, tenacity, and passion to make this happen. And we all had fun! All in all, I highly recommend anybody, young or old, interested in dancing and having fun to go to Nrityamut Dance Academy.
Rated 5.0 My girls have been going to Amruta for Kathak for several years. What I love about her is that not only is she an amazing dance teacher but that she is also great with kids. She knows that you do not have to be mean or very strict to get the best out of each child. When we started, my youngest daughter had a very hard time with the basics, but she was very patient with her and she grew to be a lovely dancer and to love dancing because of the way she was taught. She also offers many opportunities to perform. We have performed at the Indian Heritage Festival during their twice a year events as well as performed at the Durga Temple, the Rajdhani Mandir and during a GIA event. She is always looking for new places to perform. If you are looking for a great dance teacher and experience then this is the place to go. We are so grateful we found her!
