I was unsure about including live music at my Brazilian-Punjabi Sangeet. I originally only booked a DJ but adding live performances was a great decision. Vinay and Aparna were excellent. They understood the vibe I wanted and performed songs that resonated with everyone—Punjabi, Mehndi/Wedding classics, Bhangra, etc. Both Indian and non-Indian guests enjoyed themselves and danced. They made the event memorable and were very professional to work with. Definitely recommend!

They took the time to understand our preferences for a fun yet semi-formal event at an upscale cocktail bar in Morristown, NJ. They spoke about their plan and discussed the profession DJ equipment that they would be bringing over. We discussed the music selection, which was a blend of current Bollywood hits, select Telugu songs, and '80s—'90s English music hits. What truly set Mehekte Sur apart was their MC work. They created an interactive know the birthday girl segment that had our guests thoroughly engaged and entertained. It was a brilliant touch that added a personal touch to the celebration. I wanted to do something totally unique and different for my wife’s 50 bday. Words will not do justice to the work that Emcee Vinay did. Right from taking vague ideas to executing it to perfection, he was amazing. He is amazingly creative and he built an entire custom offering which left each and every guest just amazed at how he had worked on the inputs that they provided to add glamour and fun to it. He worked closely with me and my daughter and provided great inputs. My first experience with DJ Raj’s work was at my friend’s wedding where he provided music and lighting. The room was stunning and the music was incredible! Everyone was on the dance floor the whole night. I had such a great time I knew I had to book him for my wedding reception as well, and I am so glad I did. DJ Raj’s staff was so professional and provided our music, lights and a photo booth. DJ Sunny did an incredible job giving us exactly the right energy and vibe for our reception, especially after the management at our venue caused numerous problems throughout our event (Pearl Banquet in Hicksville, NY—definitely avoid!). I am so grateful to DJ Raj and his team for being the highlight of our party and would highly recommend his services for any special event!
